I am Rey Antonio, born and raised in the Philippines and the youngest of five children. A graduate of San Beda College with a Bachelors Degree in Management. At a very young age, I have shown interest in painting, sketching, and lettering. I read books about gothic letters and familiarized myself using calligraphy nib pens and ink. When I was still in grade school my Dad asked me to make a sign board with a phrase ‘Apartment for Rent’ and there came a man who inquired about the apartment and he asked my Dad,” who made the sign board?” I knew what caught the man’s attention, it was the font, and the color contrast between the text and the background. Then I started taking pictures as my hobby and got interested in editing photos. This made me decide to go back to college to learn more about photo editing. Oh, boy! I enjoyed every graphic design class that I attended.

Of all the subjects that I took in college building websites is my favorite. I could incorporate my graphics and photos right into my projects. There are  a lot of opportunities for me to learn and grow in this field. After taking the advance class, I started accepting projects and worked with real clients even before I graduated in college. In Spring of 2019, I earned an Associate degree in Applied Science for Graphic Communications – Major in Web Design. The journey with my new and fascinating career has just begun.
